Directors
Tom Crombie, BSc Arch, RIBA, ARIAS
Tom has worked in private practice and public sector organisations since commencing his career in 1974.He joined us in 1981 and became a director following incorporation in 2003. As an architect, he has become well respected for his dependable advice and is indeed a huge asset to our company.
Bob Turnbull, BSc, FRICS, MBA, MAPM
Bob has worked in private practice quantity surveying for more than 30 years. He joined the company in 1980 and became a partner in 1984 before being appointed as a director following incorporation in 2003. His expertise in Quantity Surveying, Project Management and Project Monitoring has been attained through being involved in various residential, commercial and industrial projects and consequently his widespread knowledge is of enormous benefit to the company.
Roger Fleming, Dip Arch, RIBA, ARIAS
Roger commenced his career in 1980 and has since worked in private practice Architecture. He joined us in 1987 and progressed to the position of partner in 1989, becoming a director following incorporation in 2003. His association with various healthcare, defence, ecclesiastical and social housing projects has gained him respect in those fields. Roger is currently our Project Director responsible for managing our involvement in the MOD's £1bn Project SLAM.
Colin Dair, FRICS
Colin began his career in 1974 with a private practice Quantity Surveyor before joining BAA at Prestwick in 1981 and then working overseas for a period. He joined CRGP in 1984 and progressed to the position of partner in 1989, becoming a director following incorporation in 2003. Although having established qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Colin has developed significant expert knowledge in insurance reinstatement.
Bill Davies
Bill has worked in private and public sector organisations since commencing his career in 1967. He joined the company in 1989 and progressed to the position of partner in 1991 before becoming a director following incorporation in 2003. His advice and guidance is highly respected in the field of Architecture as he has been involved in many assignments relating to healthcare, industrial, commercial and residential.
Derek Brown, BSc, MSc, MAPM, RIBA
Derek began his career with us in 1987, initially as an Architectural Assistant before progressing to the position of partner in 1999. He became a director following incorporation in 2003. He has worked in a whole range of projects in sectors such as social housing, commercial, defence and healthcare in his disciplines of architecture and project management.
Alan Stewart, BSc (Hons), PG Cert (Prg Mgt) MRICS
Alan began his career in 1990 with a major international contractor before joining a private practice organisation in 1997 as a Project Manager. He joined CRGP in 1999 and progressed to the position of director in 2004. His particular aptitude is in project management and project monitoring and this experience has been broadened through involvement in various residential, commercial, industrial and leisure developments.
John Hill, BSc, MRICS
John has worked in private practice Quantity Surveying since commencing his career in 1990. After a previous three-year term, John returned to CRGP in 1999 and advanced to the position of director in 2006. His in-depth knowledge of Quantity Surveying and Project Management has been extended through involvement in many leading defence, residential and social housing projects.
Stewart Hamilton, BSc (Hons), MRICS
Stewart began his career in 1994 with a Glasgow-based contractor before joining CRGP in 1996. After a short spell with a large firm of Property Managers/Factors, Stewart re-joined CRGP in 2000 and progressed to the position of director in 2006. His expertise in Building Surveying and Project Management has been supplemented through involvement in various refurbishment projects, stock condition surveys and general building surveying duties.
Richard Walker, BSc (Hons) BArch, RIBA, ARIAS
Richard has worked as an Architect in the private sector since graduating in 1995. He joined the company in 2003 and progressed to the position of associate in 2005, and Director in 2008. His principle expertise in architecture being expanded through the successful completion of many education and defence projects.
Associates
Kenneth Veitch
Kenneth began his career in 1990 with the company, initially as a trainee Quantity Surveyor. He became an associate in 2005 and is currently our practice Quality Manager. With a particular inclination towards tenement refurbishment and insurance reinstatement, he has developed keen judgment and expert assessment in such projects. Kenneth also provides a CDM Co-ordinator role to various projects.
Gary Forster, BArch
Gary has worked in private practice Architecture since commencing his career in 1990. He joined us in 1997 and became an associate in 2005. His experience and knowledge of Architecture has been a feature of his work in commercial, industrial and residential projects.
Bryan McFadzean, BArch
Bryan has been with the company since 1998 when he joined our Architecture department as a trainee. He became an Associate in 2007 in recognition of his contribution to the Architectural development of the company and the wider growth of the practice. His continuing role will also be to assist in the expansion of the marketing and IT infrastructure of the business.
David McIntosh, BSc, BArch, PGDip Arch
David has worked in private practice Architecture since qualifying as an Architectural technologist in 1998. He joined CRGP in 2003 where he continued his professional development part-time through RIBA Part 1 and Part 2. David became an associate in 2008 and has developed his understanding of design and construction in the fields of residential, commercial and healthcare Architecture.
Susan Chow, BSc, MSc
Susan began her career in 1995 with an international private quantity surveying practice in Hong Kong before joining a major international contractor as a project/commercial manager working throughout England. Susan joined CRGP in 2005 as a Project Manager and became an Associate in 2008. She has project experience across sectors ranging from commercial, healthcare and education to, industrial, transport and private & social housing.
