Kinnaird House, Bearsden

Job value: £900,000

THE PROJECT: To demolish an existing property and outbuildings and construct two luxury detached villas within the grounds. Living areas extended to 2500 sq.ft and 4500 sq.ft, however, the larger property included an extension to the existing swimming pool complex to create office space.

OUR BRIEF: To provide an effective quantity surveying facility to the client and design team and ensure that the project was completed within the 40-week contract period. It was a challenging project, particularly for the contractor, as the only access to the site was via a narrow shared road, which limited the use of heavy plant

THE RESULT: Our associate director worked closely with the client and design team to ensure the project was delivered to meet the developer's goal in achieving sales before completion of the contract.
