THE PROJECT: The refurbishment of an existing 1960's office building in the East End of Glasgow.
OUR BRIEF: To provide a new frontage, reception space and modern office accommodation within an existing office building. This involved the demolition of the entire interior of the building, the installation of a new lift, the creation of new rooms and re-covering the existing flat roof. The existing frontage to the busy Gallowgate was re-cladd using Cedar boarding, glass, ceramic tiles and stainless steel to provide an attractive entry point to the building.
THE RESULT: Headed by Director Bill Davies (Architect), CRGP Ltd brought their wealth of experience in renovating existing buildings and maintaining close control over costs. CRGP Ltd succeeded in creating a comfortable office space that meets the Clients requirements and designing an attractive frontage that promotes The East End Partnership, all within the Client's programme and budget.
