Clydesdale House, Glasgow

The completion of Clydesdale House marks the first stage in the formation of the new Springhill Business Village, set within Glasgow Business Park, which is conveniently located just off the M8 at Junction 9. Instantly recognisable from the iconic Heavy Horse Sculpture that sits proudly overlooking the M8, Glasgow Business Park is described as the city's premier out of town business location.

The building is steel framed, clad with composite cladding panels and full height curtain walling. The floors are insitu cast concrete on metal decking and the roof is a composite standing seam cladding panel. The development boasts a healthy car parking allocation, set amongst extensive areas of soft landscaping.

Clydesdale House takes advantage of its corner location offering panoramic views over the parkway. Entered from an impressive 3 storey glass enclosure with overlooking balconies, the floor plates allow for maximum subdivision with a potential for three suites per floor, ranging from 2070sqft² to 8,340sqft

To ensure the plan remains as flexible as possible for incoming tenants, raised access flooring is installed throughout with floor boxes utilising flexible connections which allow them to be located in any position.

The £3M development forms another successful project with the client, Glasgow Business Park Limited (part of Silverbank Development Company) and the Main Contractor, CBC Limited. CRGP has worked closely with Silverbank and CBC on numerous projects over the past 10 years and are currently involved in several other projects at various stages of development.
