Camphill Vaults and Riva Restaurant
‘CRGP resolve planning constraints with striking restaurant design'
Work is now complete on site for a small extension to a Grade C listed Public Bar in the Bothwell conservation area. After 2 years trying to obtain planning approval, Conservation area consent and Listed Building Consent were granted in November 2007.
CRGP's design marries the old with the new, creating a bold new space which compliments but is still subsidiary to the existing listed building.
The new extension fills a prominent corner site on Bothwell Main Street, providing an eye-catching feature whilst still relating to the context.
