Eglinton Medical Practice, Ayrshire Central Hospital
CRGP worked with Dawn Construction to prepare a design for the proposed Eglinton Medical Practice within Ayrshire Central Hospital.
The brief was to provide a number of Doctor's Consultation suites with small Surgery, Physio and Treatment rooms, Offices and Meeting facilities along with a visitors reception and waiting area.
The design aims to minimize the visual impact on the site through considered massing and material selection whilst also emphasizing the ‘inside-outside' perception of the building for patients and staff, with large quantities of glazing allowing natural light and views to penetrate the spaces.
The building also responds to the needs of patients and staff with a clearly defined access route and arrival place.
