Pirbright Development Opened for Business

CRGP have completed Phase II of major new development at Pirbright for Defence Estates.

The three block accommodation and training activity will support about 500 new recruits during their initial training routine.  Roger Fleming of CRGP Architects said "In the week that the MOD announced the closure of the adjoining Deepcut Barracks this new facility at Alexander Barracks will provide excellent facilities for Army recruitment and training".

The project was undertaken by Debut under the prime contract Project SLAM.

Mark Norton, Project Manager Project SLAM, Debut Services Ltd, said "Thank you all for your hard work and diligence in making this project a success. We handed Block 7 over yesterday with zero snags and 5 weeks early. The client was very impressed with standard of finish in Block 7. I think we can all be proud of what we have achieved here."
