Completion at Gaza Barracks, Catterick

A Fanfare signals the handover of new Warrant Officers and Sergeants Mess.
In the heart of Gaza Barracks a new mess and single living accommodation building has been completed, works commenced in September 2008 and the building was handed over to the base in mid March 2010 at an approximate cost of £12 million.
The project is the 5th mess building completed by CRGP under Project SLAM and signals the completion of the second phase of works at Gaza Barracks.
The new building will not only serve as a Mess for the 4th Mechanized Brigade but also as the Catterick Garrison Warrant Officers and Sergeants Mess and will also house 80nr SNCO's within en suite bed sits.
