Storm damage reinstatement of the Bakur Bar, formerly the Pub at the Pier, in Uig on the Isle of Skye.
Severe storms destroyed the conservatory that sits on the sea wall, the debris of which caused damage to the roof and walls of the pub itself.
An interesting reinstatement involving scaffold built off the 'beach' capable of being submerged at high tide.
Works carried out within a short timescale to ensure a re-opening prior to the high season tourist trade.
CRGP provided Project Management, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying and CDM Co-ordinator services.
Principal Contractor was local firm James MacQueen Building Contractors Limited.
