Works are due to commence on Saracen House, which is part of a regeneration project in Possilpark. The project is a new build business centre with NG Homes and JBG being anchor tenants. CRGP is providing a Project Management service.
The project has been made possible through the partnership of several organisations such as Jobs for Business Glasgow, Glasgow City Council, NHS and NG Homes.
The project value is £2.7m with funding from ERDF, JBG , NG Homes and Glasgow City Council. The NHS are separately carrying out a project adjacent to Saracen House to provide a Heath Centre.
Part of the project is the creation of a public realm to Saracen Street and this was funded by Glasgow City Council. This includes granite setts to the public footpath and the creation of a Square.
Future regeneration will involve the development of the rear of the site for potentially retail and housing.
