Sugar Sheds, Greenock
CRGP was approached by our Client to prepare a design for the sensitive remodelling and repurposing of the grade A listed Sugar sheds in Greenock.
The building had lain in a derelict condition for a number of years with a large central section of the building collapsed. CRGP developed an innovative strategy for sub-dividing the building into a number of complementary uses including office, retail and leisure.
The primary focus within the design strategy was to retain and enhance the original qualities of the listed building whilst bringing back into service an iconic structure within the heart of Greenock for the benefit of the local community.
